It was written by someone who has written a lost of Rust and likes the language, but acknowledges that it's not always the best tool. It's a few years old, so not all of it holds up. For example, the author criticises the IDE tooling as immature. I don't think that's true in 2023. Coincidentally, the author created the official language server for Rust.
