So is the takeaway that Microsoft will now extend their ongoing corporate espionage (assuming they haven't already) to sending everything I type in any of their products to their servers and incorporating it into their model training. I've already been uncomfortable with how privacy-violating their software is, I think this is the excuse I need to drop them for good.

Try to explain that to almost every company in Europe. They use Microsoft for everything (AKA pay to upload their own trade secrets to the NSA/US) while making you sign an NDA to "protect trade secrets", lol.
