The problem is other developers. There are some jerks out here who don't think software licensing is important, and who would have guessed? It's the same people not contributing anything back to the industry. HALF my team at my last full-time job didn't think software licensing was important. They thought services like GitHub Copilot were no big deal. My guess is they violate license requirements on a daily basis. Teach your juniors.
