Does an exponential curve have an inflection point?
- est31 4y agoAdoption curves are s-shaped, usually. There are infliction points at the start: https://www.stratechi.com/adoption-curves/ https://www.stratechi.com/adoption-curves/
- HervalFreire 4y agoI mean colloquially. Look up the English definition instead of the mathematical one.
- howinteresting 4y agoIf you'd like to be this pedantic, the point at which a curve turns from linear to exponential can reasonably be described as an inflection point.
- cozzyd 4y agoIn the common usage of exponential not meaning exponential at all, sure anything goes I guess.
- HervalFreire 4y agoThis is what separates most humans from robots right?: The fact that I can say something without using the pedantic technical definition and for a human with normal intelligence to still know what I'm talking about. I guess by someone announcing their confusion they are also announcing the fact that they are NOT part of THAT group of humans. Or they just want to be a smart ass. Pick one.
- avgcorrection 4y agoI have never gotten past a captcha.
- HervalFreire 4y agoStop being a smart ass.
