Displacing other drugs seems to be the most obvious cause of that - but I am a reminder that defeating epilepsy/migraine complexes are enabling people to work, and enjoy pain/delirium-free time with others. This rings true to me - “perhaps marijuana and prescription pain medications are substitutes, but marijuana and heroin are not.”
