Pentagon video shows Russian jet dumping fuel on US drone
- rootusrootus 4y agoApparently there were something like 17 passes before the start of that video. Surely the Russians would have expected that a US military drone would have cameras? They had to have expected this.

- regpertom 4y agoCould that be 17 passes as a warning? Sometimes for example you hear tell of jets flying over ships to say ‘hey I could have bombed you but I didn’t’? I’m just not sure if you’d be able to miss 17 tries at a fuel dump or something. That’s also quite few minutes of flight time on the attempts. But hey if it happened it happened.

- litoE 4y agoI don't understand what was the purpose of dumping fuel over the drone. Were they expecting it to catch fire?
- regpertom 4y agoA skirmish thing happened a couple years back between India and China where a bunch of soldiers on both sides had a fight and bludgeoned and stabbed each other to death over some incitement or another. I think they weren’t allowed to shoot each other because then it counts as war or something so instead it was sticks and stones pushing back maybe kilometres into contested Chinese territory and it was kinda like ‘yeaaaah what are you gonna do? No big deal.’
