What's luddite about not wanting to read ghostwritten AI stories posted by fake writers? If I want AI stories or art, I can just prompt the models myself and don't need a useless intermediary.
On the bright side, this is likely also going to play out this way and the market for the prompt "artists" will be nonexistent unless they add any value (which they rarely will).
- bleuchase 4y agoIt’s silly to think that new technologies aren’t incorporated into art in all kinds of ways. Some are positive and some are negative. I can think of a dozen different ways a writer could use ChatGPT in a way that augments their own creativity and would be indistinguishable to readers. If you think formulaic or thoughtless writing is new I’ve got news for you.
