What Pakistan’s Collapse Could Mean for the World
- JumpCrisscross 4y ago> Pakistan’s relationship with India, its economically ascendant neighbor now led by a hawkish Hindu nationalist government, also shows no signs of improvement The following is pure fantasy, but what a world it would be if New Delhi stepped up and provided Pakistan with relief, e.g. joint buying of fuel. Otherwise, I'm not sure which country would take the lead on a Pakistani render safe. It's not particularly in America's interest. Russia is impotent. India couldn't do it without triggering mass war. Which means we're counting on China.
- h4ch1 4y agoWhat a world it would be if Pakistan didn't repeatedly attempt to attack India, try and annex it's territories, be composed of people who wish nothing more than the downfall of the country. The entire concept of Ghazwa-e-Hind is so atrocius that nobody in their right mind in India would ever try and attempt to aid a country whose sole motive is to see it's downfall. Calling the country being led by a Hindu "nationalist" government is a huge reach, if it were there would be a mass exodus of Muslims and regular culling of populice that is not Hindu. That is neither the sentiment nor in actuality. Western media reports are not based on any sort of reality, unlike Pakistan's national sentiment of Ghazwa-e-Hind, which if you Google, has been endorsed and is regularly touted for by millions accross the country, including Indian Muslims.

The rational move is staving collapse while eking out influence. That said, I agree it’s politically impossible for New Delhi.
