Winamp Reboot
- accrual 4y agoFor anybody more interested in what Winamp used to be, check out WACUP [0]. It's a modern continuation of the old codebase by one of the original devs, dro. Winamp has changed hands a couple of times since the last original release (v5.666) and honestly I can't see it as anything more than a cash grab to recoup something on whomever's investment. It's Winamp in name but not in spirit. [0] https://getwacup.com https://getwacup.com
- Logans_Run 4y agoAlso worth pointing out that as per the WacUp Install instructions - Alternatively WINE 7.x or newer (running winetricks dxvk & setting it to use Windows 7 compatibility is recommended to avoid visualisation related crashes) for those of us that have moved to *nix since the last time that the Llama's ass got whipped.
