ChatGPT: Using the Right Tool for the Right Job
- tikkun 4y agoReads like blogspam to me.
- mm_globant 4y agoWhat in particular struck you that way? I'm always open to feedback. The context was, a short high level blog post of my experience learning Python with ChatGPT. Of course it's already a bit dated with the release of ChatGPT 4, but it was written about 3 weeks ago.
- pelagicAustral 4y ago> Don’t use ChatGPT … for coding Yeah, I mean, I'm not about to ask this thing to do all my job, not like it can anyway. I still feel somewhat relevant, you know. But I've been using GPT-4 as a coding assistant/knowledgebase and it is just my best buddy, every time I forget about a specific syntax I just politely ask and boom! sure enough there's my answer... Lately I've been asking ChatGPT to personify Kenny Powers and answer to my coding questions... the result is just too good... picrel https://imgur.com/OTguTdH https://imgur.com/OTguTdH https://imgur.com/v6lXoir https://imgur.com/v6lXoir
- mm_globant 4y agoNice! I wrote this about three weeks ago, so when ChatGPT 4 went live this week I tried out some of the same prompts I used while learning with 3.5. It was WAY better. More natural, but also a lot more comphensive and "thoughtful," if one can say that about an AI. The danger of writing on a subject that's constantly on the move is one's observations are likely to become irrelevant as soon as it's published. :D
- nickthegreek 4y agoThis type of personalized learning where we can change the ‘voice’ of the instructor would really have helped me on some of my schooling as a kid.
