Too bad the entry-level offers still have such small SSDs. My EX41 from 2017(!) has SSDs that size. It’s high time to up the minimum size. I don’t need 64 GiB

I don’t need 64 GiB of RAM or a gazillion CPU cores or whatever, I just need reasonably-sized (1 TB+) storage. Not HDDs, but SSDs.
- riku_iki 4y agothey allow to add ssd at extra cost.
- fuzzy2 4y agoAt tremendously steep premiums – RAID1 (or equivalent) is a must, after all. Some combinations are confusingly not possible (adding two NVMe SSDs – gotta select “Datacenter Edition” SSDs). Might as well get a bigger server for the higher price.
- riku_iki 4y ago> At tremendously steep premiums I think it is about $10/TB, looks reasonable.
