I once started off a SaaS business on Hetzner, all good and super cheap. Some prospects were turned off by us hosting their data on a "no-name" provider. Switched to AWS, total door-opener, no more questions asked. In hindsight we would not have been able to sign contracts this fast without a big name provider. IT departments really need to revise their due diligence processes. I wonder how many folks were coerced to do a similar migration just to benefit from household brand credibility.
