I turned Twitter off in 2020. It was easy since I had experience disconnecting, I got rid of my TV and radio in 2010 :) I agree it helps to focus, but unfortunately investors and CEOs are plugged in and enter into panic mode (at least my CEO started panicking after SVB) so we are still affected by those 'self fulfilling prophecies', at least my current workplace is. I wish I was running a profitable business so I would not rely on investors to fund me or CEO to pay me :) It is interesting though, I get steady amount of recruitment calls, all from smaller companies. There is hope!
