- avidiax 4y agoAudio over USB is supposed to be synchronous, but if the webcam is buffering somehow, you could get jitter in the microphone. Some HDMI implementations have been known to have similar problems on playout (variable delay, sometimes with a snap-back). If playout and microphone don't have relatively constant delay, that makes the AEC adaptation incorrect, and you'll get echo defects.
