I'm not sure why any business would trust Microsoft with anything. They have decades of history of finding loophole into any contract or just outright breaking deals. On their gaming branch they managed to repaint themselves as saint to community but the way they have been stacking major studio and distributors acquisitions is quite worrying. Once the Activision one is finished they will definitely have monopoly over several types of games (but probably not if you look at it as a whole).
