Much of coding today is doing the same thing all over again in a new environment or new language or tool. LLM's will have plenty of examples of this and will be able to generate those products faster and better. Original code will be harder to duplicate. We can assume that those coders will use an LLM as a tool to speed up their development, but won't be able to trust it for mission critical items. Although, writing this I realized that an LLM may become an excellent way to bug test.
