Is there a good paper you can point to that describes/explores this dichotomy? (i.e., AI safety has two branches, AI ethics and AI alignment) I'd like to understand this better. I've been to a couple of "AI ethics" talks recently where the speakers used AI ethics and AI alignment as if they were synonyms.
