That really isn’t an accurate summary of the ideology. Wiki:

Personally I think lost cause is weird (to say the least) but they generally try to avoid, rather than defend, the slavery issue.
- ZeroGravitas 4y agoIf you celebrate a war over slavery as heroic while falseley claiming it wasnt about slavery, that is glorifying slavery. Same as holocaust deniers are glorifying the Nazi regimes murders by claiming it didn't happen, when they know it did.
