It's even more complicated when you try and localize this. Some languages make pluralization very complicated. A few years ago, one of the localization team members gave me a tip I have been trying to stick to this time around. Instead of "You found 1 coin." or "You found 2 coins." you turn it into an enumeration "Coins Found: 1" The localization of the string part is the same for all languages.
