It could be JPY ;)
- umeshunni 4y agoThat's what I was wondering, as that amount in USD (or EUR/GBP etc) seems like a ridiculous amount of money to spend on speakers, even to me, a well off US-ian.
- vijayr02 4y agoUh.. while my comment was firmly tongue in cheek I don’t think you realise how ridiculous these things can get. https://shop.martinshifi.co.uk/products/b-w-nautilus?variant=1225344225¤cy=GBP https://shop.martinshifi.co.uk/products/b-w-nautilus?variant... Can be yours for the bargain price of GBP 57,750
- ChoGGi 4y agoOh, a budget pair of speakers. I think the gentleman is looking for something a bit more high class sir. https://hifi-products.com/Transmission-Audio-Transmission-Audio-ULTIMATE-speaker-76-PicFront.html https://hifi-products.com/Transmission-Audio-Transmission-Au...
- umeshunni 4y agoThank you. Speakers that weigh more than a few cars and cost more than a nice condo in a major city are exactly what I was looking for.
- aforwardslash 4y agoOh boy, you're in for a surprise, specially if you already know that there are people that buy golden toilets.
- 4gotunameagain 4y agowe are on an english speaking, western centric platform. what are the chances a non denominated amount to actually be in JPY ?
- whstl 4y agoIn the real world it is 15k yen. That's the price of a Yamaha HS5 and some other speakers in that range. And yep after that you definitely start getting diminishing returns. https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Yamaha-HS5-Active-Monitor-Speaker/dp/B00CDJ8HK6?th=1 https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Yamaha-HS5-Active-Monitor-Spea...
