- naikrovek 4y agoyes, clearly they've crippled it... they're still hosting it and allowing people to fork and clone the repo. US export and import restrictions must be followed by companies who operate in the US. GitHub is one of those companies, and the developer in question is associated with a newly restricted company, so GitHub must cease allowing that company to operate on its infrastructure.
