It's just a different kind of fun. I have an audiophile friend (I generally change the subject when it comes up) and there's this huge tell: he says he is "listening to his system", not "listening to music". I vastly prefer to listen to music!
- Tor3 4y agoSomeone told a story about how he (or she, I can't remember) brought an audiophile friend to a classical music concert. The guy had never actually been at a concert, but had a huge classical collection at home. He didn't like the concert. "The bass response was not good".
