with mag safe and some key software changes theoretically iphones could have "removable" batteries again. Apple could create a case that allows for a 5x credit card thickness device to be slipped into it, and battery management could drain that first, as opposed to it charging your iphone.
hope they're working on something similar, if not they should get on it
