Opening "man bash" transformed my experience with bash, which has now risen to the top in the list of my favourite languages.
I don't get all the hate.
I used fish for a while and really liked it, but I realise now this was only because I didn't really know bash. (that and it came with some nice defaults out of the box, like prefix sensitive command history, which requires a .inputrc oneliner for bash)
But now every time I try fish I'm like, eh, and immediately switch back to bash.
I havent tried zsh, but it just looks gimmicky and "appleish" to me.
