My take is: Starlink just reminded Pentagon they’re a mostly civilian operator, and they’re not ready to defend from direct cyber warfare, it without investment and someone to pay for that. Which is reasonable, IMHO

And Ford was a civilian operator until they needed to build heavy machinery for WWII. Wartime is different.
