What... what were you trying to say, exactly?
- ggm 4y agoYou can only live on clean Debian if you have no core dependencies for your reasons to want to run Debian, which depend on running frankdendebian. The reason computers are bought is generally not as the end in itself: few people outside of the core run Debian simply to prove they can: there is some external drive, motivation to want to achieve, using Debian as a platform. If you can't fulfill that core drive on a clean Debian install, is it really a serious proposition to go back to your clients, paymasters and say "sorry, I can't run this task because.. the Debian developers dont WANT me to add in this other APT registry, or install this code in /usr/ paths outside of their distribution channel management"
