Whether we like it or not, there's a symbiotic relationship with the economy at large and the financial system. This is not limited to a few wealthy companies/individuals, but to the entire economy, and the cascading effect that this might cause. The shareholders should not get anything, but depositors must be made hole, and soon. Time will tell.
