Meta mates become cell mates. I went with my dad back in 2000 to a “take your kid to work day” and got to hang out with him in his cubicle. Honestly it was pretty cool. He had a CRT monitor and a calendar, and his desk space was minimal and clean. Others had decorated their spaces in unique ways. It was private and we could chat without disturbing others. It felt cozy? Again I was like 9 so keep that in mind.
