- senttoschool 4y agoBlind guess. I did not open the article. It talks about slightly older women. The same women who fall for Tinder scams. A bit lonely. Many of them normal. The AI is able to fill a need that real men aren't offering them. They feel a sense of connection to the AI.
- bell-cot 4y agoThe (long) headline mentions a $300 price. If the alternative involves spending $10/month on romance novels, and the $300 AI lasts 3 years, then the AI is cheaper. You gotta beware of expensive upsells & such, but there are similar dangers with romance novels. Data security is potentially a major issue, but meat-model boyfriends have even worse security issues.
