Might work for some, but personally my ears and hearing wouldn't cope with a whole day of NC headphones, let alone 5 days a week.
Also, sometimes I like having music/noise on but sometimes not.
- robin_reala 4y agoMeta want their staff to be in VR goggles 5 days a week, so NC headphones are only the start.
- erik_seaberg 4y agoClosed-back over-the-ear headphones are good for this. Active noise cancellation damps repetitive sounds, but a big hunk of plastic damps everything. I think I'm on my third pair of Sennheiser HD280s in 25 years, because the plastic does wear out.
