One problem is that the Blue checkmark on Twitter used to mean something. Now it can be used to weaponize fake info.
- nickpinkston 4y agoYea, totally, and there's long been disinfo botfarms / sock puppets / dogpile gangs, etc. push scams...
- senttoschool 4y agoGive it a year and people will have a negative connotation with seeing the blue checkmark.
- nickpinkston 4y agoI already have one. Seems like a Elon-simp signifier. I think the real ones are like bronze / silver or say "legacy blue check"
