I mean if your tools are that simple, this is a no-brainer. The problem is when you have to scale up. Internal tools can get complicated because their user base is often highly specialized technical users. Managing reusable components, behavior, and state of a complex application is when you need something like React.
- danielheath 4y agoScale isn’t the problem, the product need for instant (client-side) reactivity is.
- tshaddox 4y agoI think the commenter is referring to the scale of functionality. Perhaps a better term would be scope.
- danielheath 4y agoRight, but (eg) ERP tools have heaps of scope and very little need for client side reactivity.
- irrational 4y agoInstant? Most React sites I’ve visited feel anything but instant.
