You’re right. I overlooked this and was under the impression Circle would just pause exchanges. Their announcement to resume monday at 1:1 changes the game. Wish they'd just wait it out to give everybody a fair shot. Hopefully even in the case of bank run they'd stop the show when they run out of liquidity and preserve the cash in treasury bills at least till maturation. Anyway, for people wanting to get out they can always use Uniswap against GUSD or DAI!
