I use O2 with my iPad 2, and this really doesn't surprise me. The 'adult payment' restriction on half of the Internet made me quickly find out that VPNs offer a practical workaround. I don't trust O2 as a bearer, so I use a VPN instead, which also comes in handy for hotel room/café wireless hotspots.
