I never appreciated how many banks failed during the S&L crisis. Why was the recession that followed that not as bad as the one that followed the 2008 crisis?
- hakfoo 4y agoI think many of the S&Ls that failed were much smaller and less systemically important than the 2008 crisis players. The industry was much less concentrated back then.
