Been there and love the place and likely would end up there if I could. Incidentally, decades ago when I first went there I instantly fell in love with the Kaikoura Coast—palm trees, the Pacific Ocean and snowcapped mountains in the same scene. I've been to no other place on the planet where that combination ocurrs, NZ has it all. Question, why then do you mob so frequently go west and end up in the Emerald City? You should know by now it's only a chimera—'emerald' when viewed from a distance.
