It should be a celebration when there is rain.
- qwertox 4y agoApart from the drama unfolding, the issue with too much rain, specially during or after a drought, is that the earth isn't able to absorb the water properly in order for it to be as useful as one would wish.

- qwertox 4y agoSorry, soil. (Erde, tierra, that's where the mistake came from. But apparently in English earth can also be referring to the ground.)

It’s entirely unpredictable and chaotic. Flooding, wind knocking over trees, destroyed roofs, blocked roads, downed power lines, snow blocking residents from leaving…that’s just to start. "Too much rain" is a gross simplification.
