Not being able to explain it doesn’t prevent us from trying to copy it. We cannot explain other people, but we imitate them. Kids learn a lot of stuff by imitating. It’s a basic human function. So essentially we created systems that we cannot fully explain, to imitate our own systems that we can’t fully explain either.
