Here’s an update from the billing team at Datadog; surely the first of many such abrupt requests by panicked A/R teams: “It is urgent that you do not remit any payments to our account with SVB today or in the future. Payments sent to SVB from today forward may not be credited to your account.” My deeper question as a customer is: will Datadog be able to meet their payroll next week?

Is that legal? They can demand payment twice if they lose the first payment? That is ridiculous.

  If they let the customer know that the payment mechanism no longer gets to them, and the customer still pays the old way...
