- underlines 4y agocream stays far far away from carbonara. otherwise it's not carbonara. carbonara sauce is simply pecorino or parmigiano cheese mixed with eggs or just yolks and pepper and guanciale or pancetta. NO CREAM, NO MILK, NO HAM, NO BACON! basta! /endofrant
- vidarh 4y agoProbably because classic Carbonara does not include cream. Including cheese is normal on the other hand. So, yeah, it's not perfect but it's close to being reasonable.
