Bill Clinton won the plurality of the popular vote in 1992 and 1996. The Electoral system is broken not because "my party lost" but because it means the value of a person's vote depends on where you vote.
If the Republicans win the next Presidential election, I am skeptical Democrats would stage an insurrection like the Republicans did, primarily because I have faith Biden is not Trump and would not incite the crowd as Trump and his ilk did.

- jimmygrapes 4y agoPerhaps you are familiar with #Resist, Disrupt J20, and the rhetoric of Democrats from 2015 through 2023? No specifically analogous event to Jan 6th 2020 occurred, but I certainly don't have the same faith as you that something similar or worse wouldn't happen, given the above trends.
