30 years is really far beyond any kind of reasonable window of any potential prediction. The exponential acceleration of technology will make the world 30 years from now likely incomprehensible. With the rapid changes we are seeing, 3 years out may be difficult. Maybe even 3 months. I recently saw a thread of someone who stated every AI related project they had worked on recently became obsolete before they could finish. Recently the only job Neil deGrasse Tyson could recommend was plumbing or any manual labor job. But 30 years out, might have robot androids. This leaves the big question nobody can seem to answer, what will people do? If all creative ventures are dominated by AI as well, then we have much uncertainty around the concept of meaning and purpose in our lives. I've spent a lot of time in contemplation on these thoughts.
