I've been in this category for 10+ years now. It's not that I'm against offices - I actually rented a private one for a few years after my daughter was born. I biked in most days, it was great. And I'm happy to visit my employer's office a few times a year. More often if it's in reasonable walking or bicycling distance. I just don't want to move or have a daily car commute. My wife and I spent a year in the Bay Area before moving back to the Midwest, and it was good for what it was, but we're much happier here.
