Six Months of SICP
- anthk 4y agoEh, on SICP, I use the textinfo one: http://zv.github.io/sicp-in-texinfo http://zv.github.io/sicp-in-texinfo A lot of exercises are redone. If you are using the first editions, you'll need to use an X server to play with the pictures. The 2nd edition might be done with any R5RS interpreter.
- anthk 4y agoOk, I'll correct myself. MIT Scheme supports it, but you need to do voodo in order to load the 6001 directory, as it's configured to a non-functional user setup. It's very unmaintained, and the authors should provide either a script or a README.sicp file (both came from MIT, ffs) in order to easily setup the SICP compact package.
- anthk 4y agoWell, finally, the best setup for SICP: Get Chicken, version 5 and up. Install these SRFI's: chicken install srfi-203 chicken install srfi-216 Next, at the Chicken csi's prompt: (import scheme) (import (srfi 203)) (import (srfi 216)) Info about these SRFI's: https://wiki.call-cc.org/eggref/5/srfi-203 https://wiki.call-cc.org/eggref/5/srfi-203 https://wiki.call-cc.org/eggref/5/srfi-216 https://wiki.call-cc.org/eggref/5/srfi-216
