Democracy Needs Free Speech
- jfengel 4y agoAny time I hear people talking about freedoms and rights without talking about responsibilities, a red flag goes up for me. Yeah, free speech is great, and should be the default position. But if you're not aware of the problems that speech can cause, and thinking about ways to mitigate them, then you're just serving up platitudes.
