As a practical example, I can't use Apple's "spaces", because they force me to sit through an animated transition when switching between screens/workspaces/whatever. It's fun the first time, but gets really old after a hundred or so.
That's how I feel about MacOS virtual desktops.
You used to be able to configure it so that there was no animation, but they removed that options a while back.
- neon_electro 4y agoI believe you may have missed the broader "Reduce motion" accessibility feature that is still in macOS as of v13 Ventura: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/reduce-screen-motion-mchlc03f57a1/mac https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/reduce-screen-motio... Or have you already found this option doesn't help you with your specific issue?
