On closer examination we might balk at this but we won't notice if the "brush stroke" in a painting is slightly off (e.g. discontinuous in color by a few hues of red here or there). In language, we would definitely notice a missing, or a Japanese word in the 中 of an English text. So maybe the best and largest current image is just equivalent to GPT-1 in precision... but we just don't notice because our brains "smooth out" the imperfection.
