I sail a 45’ boat. It would not be in any way possible to deploy 500kg of explosives over 100s of kilometers to a depth of 80m from my boat, even if I was given ample time to retrofit with specialized equipment to support the operation. And this fable claims they merely chartered a vessel!
Complete lunacy.
- Jerry2 4y ago>Complete lunacy. Exactly. I was being sarcastic. Yet this is what passes as intelligence these days. After Sy Hersh's exposé on what happened to those pipelines [1], they had to come up with an alternative theory and that's the best they could do. This wouldn't pass the second reading of a B-movie plot. My point was that undersea cables and undersea pipes are now a "fair game" and in the future we will see these kinds of infrastructures suffer all kinds of incidents. It's lunacy to go forward in today's geopolitical climate with massive projects that have an attack surface that's thousand miles long.
