Everything Everywhere All at Once: could the multiverse be real?
- ggm 4y agoI can't think of any theory of continuing interconnected-ness of a multiverse which doesn't violate some fundamental laws. The idea that 'information' is disconnected from states of being might admit it, but at best thats a view not a fact: as I understand it, information realised in a mind is change in state of matter, so it's hardly 'artifact and energy free' in outccome. Which to me goes to: "it might, but they don't inter-relate except as representing alternate states which don't interfere" Much science fiction depends on their interference. John Brunner and Brian Aldiss wrote about it long before Neal Stephenson.
