While this is an incredibly serious issue, the fraud the article focuses on is billing for services that don't really get provided, which is very different than pushing unnecessary procedures.
- _a_a_a_ 4y agoThe latter seems like fraud also. I'd guess that in a similar situation of knowingly performing unnecessary surgical procedures would constitute assault in the uk. Among other things.
